Chromotisation of aluminum and aluminum alloys

Chromotisation of aluminum and aluminum alloy is applied in order to:

• Protect objects from corrosion
• Ensure good adhesion of paints, varnishes and similar coatings.

Chromotisation of aluminum and aluminum alloy should not be applied:

• when abrasion and wear resistance is required,
• to the parts that function at temperatures higher than 150°C.

Chromotisation of zinc and zinc alloys

Chromotisation of zinc and zinc alloy is applied in order to:

• Protect objects from corrosion,
• Ensure good adhesion of paints, varnishes and similar coatings,

It should not be applied to the parts that function at temperatures higher than 60°C.
